pure energy blouse {refashioned} mossimo cardigan {thrifted}
merona doubleweave skirt, merona maura embossed wedges, and merona belt {all thrifted target stock... i know, it's nuts}
i try not to have shoppers regret (way better than buyers remorse!), but i have really been kicking myself for leaving a pair of orange bandolino platform pumps at a goodwill in georgia that i visited over the thanksgiving holiday. i honestly can't even say what it was that made me leave them, i mean... when you find quality shoes at a thrift store, you snatch them up (case A, case B). i think it was the bright color that was the deterrent, but i wish i had those orange heels to wear with this outfit today! i settled for the orange belt instead. this is an xxl blouse that i found on the clearance rack in the plus-size section at target earlier this month. the price tag read $6.58, and i had a $5 off target apparel coupon to bring it down to $1.58. i loved the print and was pretty certain i could make it into a skirt until my mom stepped in with her serger last week and just slimmed it down to my size. i still might try to tweak it a little bit, but at least it's now down to my size!
also, i announced the winner of my handmade skirt giveaway in that post, click through to see if it's you! if i could giveaway a skirt i've made every month, i probably would! thanks to all who entered and expressed an interest in one of my skirts!
