i popped into kohl's early this morning, as they sent me a 15% off coupon last night and i thought i would see if there were any tights on sale or clearance. i have been meaning to find a pair of true navy tights and the simply vera wang brand is my favorite (apt 9 is good, too) and they are always on sale. paired with a 15% coupon, i was prepared to get a pretty good deal on tights and maybe find a piece of clearance jewelry too.
i am pretty strict about how i shop at kohl's. i really only go there for jewelry {the necklace i wore thursday is a simply vera necklace i found on the clearance rack for $1.70!} and tights because there is always a promotion or coupon and a ton of clearance. to my surprise, today there was an extra 25% off clearance markdowns so i picked up a couple other items. i wasn't prepared to spend quite this much, but i am pretty thrilled with these deals. and the tights, which is what i went in looking for, were not only on sale but i got two additional discounts - there was an extra 10% off socks + my 15% off coupon! i am also pretty excited about the black wedge boots, as i mentioned earlier this week that i don't have any dressy boots, nor do i have any black boots. these are perfect! can you tell how excited i am about these deals! too bad they weren't offering the $10 in kohl's cash when you spend $50 promotion, i would have grabbed another pair of tights to get $10 back!
