pluses: i really like all of the items i purchased this month.  i am looking forward to receiving both of the ankle booties as a combination of sales, coupon codes, and gift cards made each of them an amazing deal.  i may not get much wear out of them as we transition into spring/summer, but i wear booties like this a lot with tights in the fall/winter.  i'm okay hanging onto them until those seasons roll around again as i'm not sure how much i like the way ankle booties look with bare legs... thoughts?

minuses:  it seems like i bought a lot of tops in purple hues, so maybe they seem like duplications, but i think the popover and button-down {both on the top row} are different enough that i'll wear each equally.

next month: i'm not going to be so bold as to tell myself, "no shopping!" but right now i don't feel compelled to do much shopping next month.  i just spend a large chunk of money on necessary car maintenance and upgrades and i'm going on a short road trip - traveling always necessitates extra costs.  so, i'm feeling a little ambivalent toward spending money on clothing in the month of may but if i do buy anything, it will probably be shoes/jewelry/accessories at target with one of the coupons i posted about recently or this lace top from merona with a gift card i have.  i'm trying to wait for it to go on sale!
