the only thing i have to say about this outfit is that i am glad my navy tights don't appear as blueberry-blue in this ill-lit photo as they did in real life, if you know what i'm saying.  yikes.  the heels are navy too, but you'll have to forgive my terrible white balance & iso knowledge that makes them appear black.  don't you hate when you realize something is totally off about your outfit but not until the end of the day?  good thing today was another one of those days where i barricaded myself in my dark office!

today's outfit is brought to you by the goodwill & this lovely lady.  something about her combination of orange {a color nonexistent in my closet until this blouse a week ago}, navy, and khaki popped out at me and i loved it.  a week later and i somehow accumulated a khaki blazer and orange blouse to recreate it myself!  i'm not sure how i feel about the color orange but i think it's balanced out nicely with the neutral blazer.  now, if only i had some fantastic orange heels!

i was really happy when i realized that i had another cardigan in my closet that matches one of the colors in this skirt perfectly.  for me, having skirts like this in my wardrobe that i can easily pull a coordinating cardigan on with makes obvious sense, but i still get to have some creativity with it by focusing on different colors.  this outfit couldn't have been easier to throw on & i felt great in it all day.  have a nice evening!
