so, i went to target over the weekend to buy batteries for my swiffer wetjet and cat food {aren't you always kind of curious about what people go into target to buy?} and of course i ended up with clothes in my shopping basket - this skirt that was on clearance for $11.48 and a merona cardigan that is on sale this week for $15... but i ended up paying much less.  i seriously could not wait to write this post to tell you all about it, but don't worry--i swiffered my apartment first.  i do have priorities!  ;)

most of what i wear is thrifted and i've talked about target coupons a lot in the past, so i think regular readers have caught on that i love a great deal.  target makes it even easier for us bargain hunters with the numerous opportunities they throw at us to save money.  there are target.com coupons, mobile coupons on the target app, and now cartwheel.  it can be hard to keep up with all of these savings options, but if you know what you're doing they set you up to save a ton of money because you can use a combination of all of them on one item.

here's how i got this skirt and cardigan for only $17:  this cardigan is on sale for $15 this week, down from $19.99.  you're already saving $5, but there's also a cartwheel offer for 20% any merona cardigan.  $12 is even better, but i also used a 25% off two merona items coupon from target.com.  this brought my now $12 cardigan down to $9 and my clearance skirt from $11.48 to $8.61.  i won't even factor in the additional 5% i saved by using my target redcard or the nickle i got back for using my own bag!

i love saving money and try to pay it forward by pointing out savings that can be earned.  i hope i'm not the only one out there who gets a thrill when my total keeps going down, down, down on the cash register!  do you use target coupons, target mobile coupons, or cartwheel when you shop at target?  have you scored any good target deals lately

there are some pretty amazing target coupons available right now for apparel, accessories, and shoes so  i have to spread the word!  i don't know how long i've been waiting for a good shoe coupon (nearly a year?!), and the ones available ($2 off sandals and $5 off merona shoes) have no price limits!  in addition to these shoe coupons, there is an awesome $5 off a $20+ jewelry & accessory purchase, which i think could include just about anything from scarves to handbags.

i also spotted a nice $2 off essie nail polish coupon in the "beauty" tab!

i wanted to let you guys know that there are new target apparel coupons on target.com this morning.  i always like to post about these when i see them released as i know many of us love shopping at target and they do release coupons that can be used toward apparel!  as you can see, most of these are for $5 off a $20 or more purchase and unfortunately they all exclude shoes, jewelry, and accessories.

if you have the target app download on your iphone, most of these coupons are also available as mobile coupons so you don't have to worry about printing them!

finally, target.com released more apparel coupons this morning.  it's been about three months!  there aren't many good ones (it's unfortunate when there is a restriction, like $5 off a $25 or higher sweater), but i wanted to point out these coupons in case there is a merona or outerwear item you've had your eye on that one of these coupons would be good on.  they expire 12/01/12.

hi friends, i'm happy to report that there are new target apparel coupons on the target.com website this morning!  i have not been taking advantage of any of these apparel coupons lately but they keep coming around, so it's always a good idea to print them (you can print each one twice!) and hang on to them.  all of these expire august 11th!  happy shopping!

i wanted to let you guys know that there are new target apparel coupons up on the target website this morning!  these don't expire until 06/16/12, so plenty of time to get some good deals.  the coupon i am most excited about is the buy one, get one pair of shoes 50% off since the recent merona/mossimo coupons have excluded shoes.  there are a lot of summer sandals and heels on clearance right now {i saw the merona mari heels marked down to $7.48 at my store yesterday}, so there are definitely even better deals to be had with this coupon.

it is again time for me to profess my love for target coupons and share some good apparel ones that popped up this morning!  i am really excited about the accessory coupon, as the majority of my jewelry comes from the clearance section at target and now there's a coupon for even more savings.  there is always tons of clearance jewelry and belts at my target, so this is a great coupon!  there are also basic merona & mossimo tanks on sale for $6 this week, so only $3 after using one of the above coupons - i know i can always use basic solid colored shells to wear underneath cardigans or to match with different prints in skirts.

don't forget to look though the rest of the coupons on the target site if you do any shopping at all there (who doesn't!).  these target coupons can always be paired with a manufacturer coupon for even greater savings.  let me know if you come away with any good deals!

if you enjoy shopping at target as much as i do (and finding awesome clearance deals), you might want to print off some apparel coupons from the target.com website for your next shopping trip!  i've mentioned these coupons a couple times before, but i think they still remain the best hidden feature on the target website.  simply head over to target.com and scroll to the very bottom and find the tiny link that says "coupons" - or click here.  

many new apparel coupons were posted today, including $3 off a merona item, 15% off denim, $3 off liz lange maternity item, 15% off xhilaration or mossimo item, 20% off a dress, or $3 off a plus size item!  remember when i told you guys how i used a $5 off plus size item coupon from the target website to score this blouse that i just slimmed to fit my size?  you never know what deals you might find!

i mentioned in this post that target.com regularly posts apparel coupons on their website, and i just wanted to share that today three new apparel coupons were posted, including 20% off any merona item, $3 off any plus sized item, and $5 off any handbag of $19.99 or more.  it's a great idea to print these as soon as they're posted (you can print each one twice) and wait for a sale or  check the clearance racks for some great apparel deals!
