i haven't done a giveaway in a really long time so i'm glad something came up that i could offer to all you great readers.  i recently purchased a necklace from bauble bar but something happened when i placed my order as the necklace i chose was actually out of stock.  the great ladies at bauble bar sent me a little treat as an apology - these little horseshoe earrings.  even though i think they're cute, they're not really my style so i would love to give them away to one of my readers!  but shh, don't tell bauble bar i am regifting them to one of you!  :)

sunday (giveaway!)

giveaway time:  many of my readers know by now how much i love making skirts.  unfortunately (or fortunately for you) i went a little crazy early on and bought a lot of fabric that was just a good deal without thinking through whether or not i would like the print once it was made into a skirt.  this is a skirt i made many months ago that i've never gotten around to wearing because i am not as drawn to the print now that it's made into a skirt. so, i'd like to give this specific skirt away to someone who likes it and will wear it!

when i started l&s in july i had no expectations about the adventure i hoped to embark on, but i have to say that i have loved every minute of it.  having even one person to drop by and leave me a comment means so much to me.  i want to thank you all for taking the time to visit, and i want to give something back to show my appreciation.  so, i'm going to do another giveaway of a handmade skirt made by me.  i'm keeping this one pretty open ended; i will gather more information about measurements & preferences when i contact the winner, but as for fabric color or print... that will be a surprise!
